Modesty

   Modesty?  What does that even mean?

noun, plural
1. the quality of being modest; freedom from vanity, boastfulness, etc.

2. regard for decency of behavior, speech, dress, etc.

3. simplicity; moderation.

   I firmly believe that women (and men) need to be modest.  The Bible mostly refers to women when it concerns dress itself.

           1 Timothy 2:8-10     King James Version (KJV)
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

    So we could all wear modest clothes and all the worlds problems would be solved right?  Wrong!
There is not much point in wearing modest clothes if we aren't modest in the heart.  We need to be right with God on the inside before anything on the outside is meaningful.

~"Modesty isn't a dress code.  It's an attitude of the heart"~
