It was a wonderful trip... nine people in a twelve passenger van, Michigan bound.  I interviewed some of the travelers on the trip.

Why are you excited to get there?

"For a campfire and go out to the lake and watch the waters rush." Daric (age 6)

"To cross the big bridge!" Rylan (age 10)

"To take pictures and to get there and see everything" Katelyn (age 12 almost 13)

What is your favorite part of road trips?

"You can sleep in vans" Daric
"The whole thing, I just love it, the whole thing" Kate
"Getting there" Rylan

What is the number one thing you recommend to take on road trips?

"GPS or map so you don't get lost! and food" Rylan
"Camera!" Kate
"Games and toys (giggles)" Daric

Where would you go on your dream road trip?

"Alaska :)" Rylan
"To the place that we are going to" Daric
"Alaska" Kate

What is you favorite road trip game?

"Games on the i-pod" Daric
"I'd probably bring my tablet if I could" Rylan
"The ABC game" Kate

There were also some pretty funny quotes!

"I need water" Daric
"I have some, don't put carrots in there please" Audrey
"It will turn into a miniature aquarium" Jessica

"This is about as fun as I thought" Jessica
"Me too!" Daric

Jessica, Kara and I were sitting in the backseat on the way there.  They tried to teach me the cup game... on our laps... with water bottles...  It didn't work so well :)  But I did (kind of) get the rhythm after lots of laughter and teasing among us.

We had so much fun that we would get into laughing fits. Kara and I would have tears streaming down our cheeks by the end of them.  Soon after we got back we were still suffering from lack of sleep and us girls were together at a church event. Just the tiniest things would lead into a fit of laughter and tears.  We decided that even spending as little as two days together was dangerous!
