Can the World See Jesus?

What if someone is struggling - wondering what is truth and what is not? Can they look at us as Christians and know that God is real? Do we let God work in and through us in an obvious way?

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
 ² through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
 ³ Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;
⁴ perseverance, character; and character, hope.
⁵ And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.   Romans 5:1-5

These verses prove that we have something to be excited about. God has given us peace, grace, and hope! We can praise God even in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope. We don't need to be ashamed of the hope that He gave us because it was given us through the Holy Spirit and His love. We also were given the Holy Spirit to live inside us. What do we not have to be excited about?

With all of these beautiful things happening inside us, why can't we talk about it? Why is it so hard to be real about our faith? I think the reason I tend to be quiet is because everyone else is. I know, bad reason.

God has given us something awesome! Let's start talking about it. Let's be real about our struggles. Let's give Jesus a chance to shine through our lives into the lives of others.
