Jesus

John 20:31
"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

The bus was dark and the people around me were silent. The people outside the window zoomed past on motorcycles. I had seen many faces on this adventure in India - faces with dark eyes, longing eyes, hands reached out, babies and children staring at me. There were people all over. I was tired. I couldn't fix these people or this country. It all looked so hopeless. Tears slowly dripped down my cheeks and I tried to pray. I couldn't. All I could think was "Jesus," and that was enough. He flooded my heart with peace for the Indian people. He heard my cry and welcomed it. His heart hurt for them too. He knew their pain and emptiness. His name was all I had to say. It is powerful!

Just Say Jesus

Life gets tough, and times get hard
It’s hard to find the truth in all the lies
If you’re tired of wondering why
Your heart isn’t healing
And nothing feels like home
Cause you’re lost and alone just screaming at the sky

When you don’t know what to say
Just say Jesus
There is power in the name
The name of Jesus
If the words won’t come
Cause you’re too afraid to pray
Just say Jesus

Whisper it now, or shout it out
However it comes out, He hears your cry
Out of nowhere He will come, you got to believe it
He will rescue you
Just call out to the Way, The Truth, The Light
When you don’t know what to say
Just say Jesus

There is power in the name
The name of Jesus
If the words won’t come
Cause you’re too afraid to pray
There is just one name
Strong enough to save
There is just one name
There is just one name
Jesus
