Some of the Joys of 2023

1. My children. 

- N hops around the house with a happy grin saying "opp, opp!" 

- Jasper acts like a toddler sized crane, carrying objects slowly and carefully to their destination with bonus sound effects.

- A burries her curly head into Gracia's face.

- Gracia yawns and stretches and makes the sweetest newborn faces.

2. Creativity

- making birthday cakes

- botanical pen art

- writing on a more regular basis

- planting a garden in memory of Pearl

3. Friendship

- my husband and I decided to go on a bi-weekly date (mostly for my sanity) This has been such a blessing to our relationship

- monthly ladies Bible study

- the many people who have come into our home to serve our family with food, gifts, and love. We are are forever grateful!

4. Church fellowship

5. Laughter

6. Growing things

- indoor plants

- vegetable garden (that Allen mostly tended)

- flower beds

7. Walks around the neighborhood

8. Luscious carpet finally installed in an upstairs bedroom (our first carpeted room)

9. Audiobooks

- Hoopla is my favorite resource

10. Delivering a brand new baby into this world filled me with so much joy.
